About Us
The Greater Houston Trucking Association is a transportation advocacy group dedicated to helping the Houston region trucking companies grow and succeed.
GHTA was established by Founder and President Liz Castillo to ensure proper access to opportunities, support, and resources for the men and women who keep the U.S trucking industry moving forward.
Liz Castillo
Having grown up in a trucking and transport-immersed family gave Liz in-depth experience and insight into the needs within the trucking industry. Her background and expertise triggered her into founding an association that could help, finance, and advise thousands of trucking companies to secure their businesses. This personal connection to the mission of GHTA and passion led her to create a system that encourages growth and success for those in the trucking industry while showing respect and integrity for the critical work they deliver, becoming a trusted ally for all trucking members of the Houston area.
